of Chemistry for a period of three months (May-July, 2015). This
visit of Professor Vankar is supported by the Alexander von Humboldt
Foundation to nurture collaborative research work with Professor Torsten
Linker in the area of Carbohydrate Chemistry especially dealing with
C2-branched sugars and 1,2 and 2,3 annulated sugars. These are the areas
in which both Professor Vankar and Professor Linker have made significant
contributions.
