Stereoselective synthesis of dienyl phosphonates via extended tethered ring-closing metathesis
Org. Lett. 2013, 15, 0
DOI: 10.1021/ol4020078
Z,E-configured dienylphosphonates were synthesized through a sequence of ring closing metathesis and base-induced ring opening with very high diastereoselectivity. The protocol is operationally simple and makes products accessible which are potentially useful for the synthesis of various phosphorus containing mimics of biomolecules or as nucleophiles for olefination reactions.
